English Time is a coursebook that is designed for foreign learners of English, especially university students, who are not taking english as their major. The topics or themes in this book are a combination of cross-disciplines, such as Islamic, social, engineering, and medical studies. The combination of topics or themes is intended to make the students be able to understand the material easily and are expected to increase the enrichment of knowledge across fields. On the other important side, to improve students’ ability in using English, English Time provides a foundation in terms of language structure, which gradually builds students' understanding of basic grammar, vocabulary, and English functions. Thus it is expected that students' understanding will be wider, and their ability to use language for communicative purposes is extended.
