In today's modern era, the education system is facing a situation where educators are required to be able to master distance learning media or online learning due to the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic. The online learning education system is learning that is carried out using the internet as a place for channeling knowledge. In the era of technological development, online learning is increasingly sophisticated with various applications and features that make it easier for us as users.
Therefore, the online learning system is the only solution to overcome difficulties in face-to-face learning and is the only option educators can make so that students can still improve the quality of
learning. One of the uses of online learning is the use of Edmodo applications. However, the use of the edmodo application in supporting the teaching and learning process had not been implemented in learning at the MI Az-Zainiyah II institution. For this reason, we carried out community service by introducing the Edmodo application in supporting the teaching and learning process, as well as helping educators in creating a distance learning process that is not monotonous. The service was carried out by socializing the Edmodo application as the effectiveness of online learning in this pandemic era. The methods used in this service were lecture method, the discussion method (question and answer), and the demonstration method. The subjects of the service were educators, guardians (parents) and students of MI Az-Zainiyah II Grinting Paiton Probolinggo. With this socialization, it was hoped that all of the components concerned could understand the edmodo application, both its function and how to use it as one of the effectiveness of learning during a pandemic
